Pleasant Hill Standoff: Shots Fired, Social Media Updates, and Unusual Weapons

A shooting suspect in Pleasant Hill, identified as 40-year-old Chunliam Saechao, who had barricaded himself inside his residence after allegedly shooting his wife, was taken into custody after shooting at an armored police vehicle during a standoff. No one was injured, and the shelter-in-place order for the neighborhood was lifted. The suspect, believed to be a retired detective from the Pittsburg police department, had been posting on social media, leading officers to believe he might be suicidal.
