Phillipsburg Shooting Leaves Officer and Woman Injured, Suspect Dead

A police officer and a woman were shot in an apparent domestic violence incident in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. The suspect, who shot the woman and then fired at the responding officer, is dead from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Both the officer and the woman were flown to a nearby hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
