Philadelphia Police Apprehend 3 Suspects in Brutal Assault on School Crossing Guard

Three suspects have been taken into custody after assaulting a Philadelphia crossing guard in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood. The attack, which was captured on video, left the 29-year-old crossing guard with injuries to her nose, hand, leg, and bruising to her head and face. Two of the suspects, Imani Thomas and Destiny Sanders, were apprehended, while a 15-year-old turned herself in. Police credited the public for helping identify the suspects and expressed gratitude to the community for their support. The crossing guard is out of the hospital and working to recover, while residents hope the incident will encourage community involvement in solving and preventing future crimes.
