Pennsylvania School Resource Officer Charged with Sexual Assault of Student

A 29-year-old school resource officer in Pennsylvania, Jordan Jones, has been charged with institutional sexual assault, endangering the welfare of children, and corruption of minors after allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student at Abington Senior High School. The officer, who was a full-time officer with Abington Township police, is accused of having sexual contact with the teen numerous times at his home. He has been arrested and placed on administrative leave, with bail set at $50,000. The school district has barred him from all district property, and additional coverage and resources will be provided for the high school.
