Pennsylvania Restaurant Owner Arrested for Shooting Teen Attempting Tip Jar Theft

A restaurant owner in Pennsylvania was arrested after allegedly shooting a 15-year-old boy who attempted to steal a tip jar from the counter. Surveillance footage showed the teenager reaching over the counter to grab the jar, prompting the owner to pull out a handgun and fire multiple shots at the teen. The victim suffered gunshot wounds to his forearm and shoulder blade and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police found no evidence to suggest that the teen was armed or posed a threat to the owner. The owner is currently in custody awaiting an arraignment hearing.
