Parents arrested for neglecting severely underweight child.

Tyler and Krista Schindley were arrested after their 10-year-old son, weighing just 36 pounds, was found walking in their neighborhood. The boy was thin with discolored skin and visible injuries and had an extremely low heart rate. The couple has been charged with attempted homicide, cruelty to children, battery, false imprisonment, and more. Court documents suggest that the Schindleys intentionally withheld food from their son and locked him in his bedroom with no access to basic necessities for extended periods of time. The boy is alive and receiving treatment in the hospital.
