Parents arrested for neglecting severely malnourished 10-year-old.

Tyler and Krista Schindley have been arrested and charged with attempted homicide and cruelty to children after their 10-year-old son, weighing just 36 pounds, was found walking to a grocery store in Griffin, Georgia. The boy was rushed to the hospital with an extremely low heart rate and visible injuries. According to court documents, the Schindleys intentionally withheld food from their son and locked him in his bedroom for extended periods of time, leaving him with dental injuries and disfiguration. The couple is currently in jail and the boy is in stable condition and receiving treatment.
