Parents and Scientists in Florida Accused of Locking Kids in Makeshift Cages

Two scientists from the University of Florida have been charged with aggravated child abuse after admitting to confining their two children, one with ADHD, in a makeshift wooden cage and under an overturned crib. The parents claimed it was a normal practice and necessary due to the child's behavior and lack of childcare options. The children have been placed with safe family members, and the parents are on administrative leave from the university.
