Parent Arrested for Assaulting Mesa School Bus Driver in Front of Children

Hermenegilda Marquez, 27, has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a Mesa school bus driver after accusing her of saying things about her daughter. The incident, captured on school bus surveillance video, shows Marquez yelling, cursing, and physically attacking the driver before fleeing the scene. The victim, a 64-year-old substitute bus driver, suffered visible injuries and reported that her pacemaker shocked her after the attack. Marquez, who is already on unsupervised probation for a domestic violence assault conviction, refused to speak with investigators and faces a charge of aggravated assault on a school employee.
