Pa. couple charged after 7 children found living in deplorable conditions with rats and maggots.

Seven children were removed from a Pennsylvania home and their parents were arrested after police found them malnourished and living in unsanitary conditions. The children were clinically malnourished, had no formal education, and struggled with reading, writing, and spelling. The parents were charged with seven counts of endangering the welfare of a child. All seven children were sent to a hospital to be examined and placed in foster care.
