"Oregon Rock Climber Arrested for Plotting Violent Attack at Mountaineering Event"

A rock climber in Oregon, identified as Samson Zebturiah Garner, was arrested and charged with attempted murder and other charges after allegedly plotting to kill several people at a popular mountaineering event. The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office was tipped off about Garner's plan and found several weapons in his vehicle, along with journal entries indicating a violent attack. Garner's motives are not yet known, but he had a "generalized anger." He is scheduled to appear in court on October 27.
