Anthony Dubose Jr., 25, has been charged with capital murder and other offenses in connection with the shooting death of 77-year-old Stephen A. Keith Jr. on Birmingham’s Parkway East. The incident, which involved a shootout between an SUV and a sedan, led to Keith being shot while driving and later pronounced dead at the hospital. Dubose is also accused of attempted murder in a separate shooting. He was apprehended by law enforcement in Tom Bradford Park. The motive for targeting Keith remains unclear, and Dubose is being held without bond.
