"Omaha Teacher Arrested for Inappropriate Relationship with Student"

Omaha teacher Erin Ward, 45, was arrested for felony sexual abuse after being found undressed with a 17-year-old student in an SUV parked at a dead end road. The student fled on foot after crashing the car, and Ward, a substitute teacher at Omaha Burke High School, admitted to having sexual intercourse with him. Both were treated for minor injuries, and the investigation is ongoing with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office working closely with Omaha Public Schools.
