Ohio Teen Mackenzie Shirilla Sentenced to Life for Intentional Car Crash, Murdering Two

A Strongsville teenager, Mackenzie Shirilla, who was convicted of murdering her boyfriend and friend in a car crash in 2022, will be sentenced today. The judge found her guilty of multiple charges, including murder, felonious assault, aggravated vehicular homicide, drug possession, and possessing criminal tools. Prosecutors presented video evidence of the crash, which the judge described as "literal hell on wheels." A social media video also resurfaced, allegedly showing Shirilla claiming that drugs had no effect on her. The sentencing will take place in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas.
