NY Limo Crash Trial Begins for Operator in Fatal Accident

Nauman Hussain, the operator of Prestige Limousine, is going on trial for criminally negligent homicide and second-degree manslaughter in connection with a 2018 limo crash that killed 20 people in upstate New York. The crash, one of the deadliest U.S. road wrecks of the past two decades, occurred when the limo careened down a hill and off a road in Schoharie. Prosecutors say Hussain failed to properly maintain the limo and is to blame for the deaths. Jury selection is scheduled to begin Monday in Schoharie County Court.
