"Nurse Attacker Faces Felony Assault Charges"

George Bower, a patient at Rhode Island Hospital, has been charged with felony assault and battery, as well as felony assault on a health care worker, for violently attacking a male nurse in the hospital's psychiatric department. The nurse remains in critical condition. Bower is currently held at the ACI and has been ordered to undergo a competency evaluation.
