Nevada Man Arrested for Antisemitic Threats Against US Senator

A Las Vegas man, John Anthony Miller, has been charged with threatening a federal official after allegedly leaving antisemitic voicemail threats to kill a Jewish US senator. The senator's office confirmed that she was the recipient of the threats, which referenced the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and tied her support for Israel to her faith. Miller's voicemails contained slurs and threats, including a reference to finishing what Hitler started. Law enforcement officials were able to link Miller to the calls, and he was arrested. Hate incidents against Jewish and Muslim individuals have been on the rise following recent attacks on Israel.
