Seven individuals from the Metro Nashville Police Department have been placed on administrative assignment after the purported leak of portions of the manifesto belonging to Audrey Elizabeth Hale, the shooter responsible for the Covenant School attack in March. Unverified documents, appearing to be crime scene photographs of the killer's notes, have raised concerns about the calculated and planned nature of the shooting. The authenticity of the leaked pages has not been confirmed, and an investigation has been initiated by the city government to determine how the images were released. The National Police Association is also fighting in court to make the manifesto public.
