Myrtle Beach Police Officer Injured in Shooting, Suspect at Large

One officer sustained a minor gunshot injury after a group of suspects fired at a vehicle carrying four officers, two from the Myrtle Beach Police Department and two from the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division, who were responding to reports of someone with a gun in Myrtle Beach. The suspects fled the scene and no officers fired any weapons during the incident. The Horry County Police Department is investigating the shooting, and anyone with information is urged to contact them.
