Multiple Shootouts: MSP Trooper Wounded, Suspects Killed in Bridgeport Township and Saginaw

A Michigan state trooper was wounded and a suspect was killed in a shootout at a hotel in Bridgeport Township. The state police's fugitive team was attempting to arrest the suspect, who was wanted on several felony warrants. The suspect threatened the team with a gun, prompting the troopers to open fire. The wounded trooper underwent surgery and is expected to recover. This marks the second fatal shooting by state troopers in Saginaw County this year.
