Multiple Officers Injured in Violent Taunton Pursuit and Knife Attack

Four officers and the police chief in Taunton, Massachusetts, were injured after a man led them on a pursuit, crashed his car, and then attacked them with a knife. The suspect was eventually subdued by the police chief using a Taser. The officers were taken to the hospital with various knife wounds, while the suspect was also hospitalized with minor injuries. The motive behind the attack is currently unknown, but the suspect is known to the police. An investigation is underway.
