Multiple Murder-Suicides Leave Tragic Trail in Marion County and Tennessee

TL;DR Summary
Six months before her death, Regina Barnett warned a judge that she feared her estranged husband, Gary Don Barnett, would "get drunk and shoot" her. The judge granted a no contact order, which was still in effect when Barnett became the suspect in the murder of his estranged wife and five other people, before killing himself. Three of the dead are children, including Barnett's two grandchildren and another child. The cause of death for some victims is unclear, but at least two died from smoke inhalation. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is leading the case.
