Multiple Fatalities in Birmingham Shooting Spree

Two people were killed and three others were wounded in a shooting outside UAB Hospital in Birmingham. The victims had arrived at the hospital seeking help after being shot following an altercation at a restaurant. As they arrived, another vehicle pulled up and opened fire on their SUV. The gunfire hit a UAB police vehicle and a hospital window. The hospital was placed on lockdown, and the area surrounding the emergency room was shut down. The two deceased victims are the 90th and 91st homicide victims in Birmingham this year. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
