Multiple Fatal Shootings Outside Birmingham Malls

A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed by three masked suspects in the parking lot of Western Hills Mall in Fairfield, Alabama. The victim had just left a barbershop inside the mall when he was approached by the suspects. He was shot multiple times and pronounced dead on the scene. The suspects fled in a dark-colored sedan and no arrests have been made. This is the third teen killed in Fairfield in three weeks, but authorities say there is no indication that the incidents are connected.
