"Multiple Bodies Discovered in Remote Mojave Desert Area of Southern California"

Six people were found dead in a remote area of the Mojave Desert in Southern California, with five bodies discovered during a wellness check and the sixth found the following morning. Authorities have not released details about the cause or timing of the deaths, and are still gathering evidence. The area, located about 50 miles northeast of Los Angeles, is so remote that the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department called in help from the California Highway Patrol’s Aviation Division for assistance in the homicide investigation.
