Multiple Arrests Made in Recent Austin Homicides and Missing Vehicle Cases

Austin Police have identified the victim of a south Austin homicide as 20-year-old Rickye Henderson, who was found dead inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Two witnesses reported that Willie Joe Tyron Jones III, 20, shot Henderson with a black handgun. Jones was apprehended by police as he attempted to flee the scene and is now being held on a murder charge with a bond set at over $1 million.
