MSHP investigates fatal officer-involved shooting near 31st & Van Brunt.

Two people, a male and a female, were shot and killed in an officer-involved shooting in Kansas City, Missouri. An additional male sustained minor injuries. The Missouri State Highway Patrol will be conducting the investigation following a KCPD request. A handgun was found at the scene, but it is unknown if it was found inside or outside of the white van.
