Mother charged with murder after leaving baby unattended for 10 days.

A Cleveland mother, Kristel Candelario, has been charged with murder after leaving her 16-month-old daughter, Jailyn, alone and unattended for 10 days while she went on vacation to Puerto Rico and Detroit. The child was found unresponsive and subsequently died. Neighbors reported that Candelario had asked them to take care of Jailyn in the past, but it was not the first time she had left her daughter alone.
