Mom influencer Katie Sorensen was convicted of filing a false police report after claiming that a couple tried to abduct her children outside a Michaels craft store in California. Sorensen posted Instagram videos and gave interviews to local media, which led to police reinterviewing her and identifying the couple she accused. Prosecutors said Sorensen made up the entire incident to boost her notoriety as an influencer. She faces up to six months in jail when sentenced in June.
