Mistrial declared in trial of men accused of shooting at FedEx driver

A mistrial was declared in the trial of Brandon Case and his father, Gregory Case, who were charged with attempted murder for shooting at a Black FedEx driver in Brookhaven, Mississippi. The mistrial was declared after a police detective shared undisclosed information, leading to a request from the defense. The Cases were initially charged with aggravated assault but had the charges upgraded to first-degree attempted murder. The driver, D'Monterrio Gibson, was not injured, but his van and packages were struck with bullet holes. Gibson is still on paid leave from FedEx.
