Missouri ER doctor found dead in lake with gunshot wound after previous kidnapping

Missouri ER doctor John Forsyth, who went missing on May 21, was found dead with a gunshot wound in an Arkansas lake. His brother revealed that Forsyth had been kidnapped and released in February 2022, and believed he was in danger. The cause of death has not been confirmed, and investigations are ongoing.
