"Milford Standoff Ends in Arrest Connected to Butcher Shop Robbery"

A standoff at a Milford home led to the arrest of Daniel Generoso, 26, in connection with an armed robbery at a butcher shop and convenience store. A regional SWAT team executed a search warrant on Generoso's residence, resulting in a prolonged standoff, and police are still on the lookout for two other suspects. The area was closed to traffic, and video footage showed a heavy police presence, including a drone and SWAT officers with rifles. Route 140 was reopened to traffic around 6:30 p.m.
