Michigan Authorities Search for Mistakenly Released Inmate

The Michigan Department of Corrections is seeking help from the public to locate Christopher Bibbs Jr., who was incorrectly released from an Ohio jail where he was taken for a court appearance. Bibbs had been serving a 4 to 10-year prison sentence for carjacking. The department's Absconder Recovery Unit and Intelligence Unit, along with the U.S. Marshals Service, are working to find him. Bibbs is believed to be in the Detroit area and has a tattoo on his left forearm that says, "only the strong survive."
