Manhunt underway for suspect in UVA student abduction attempt

Police in Charlottesville, Virginia are searching for James Robert Allen, a 40-year-old man wanted on charges of strangulation and abduction after he attempted to abduct a UVA student. The victim managed to escape after being dragged into a vehicle, which crashed on Cabell Avenue. The suspect is believed to be on foot in the area, and police have urged the public to call 911 if they spot him.
