Manhunt underway for escaped inmate in Akron, Ohio.

A Summit County jail inmate, Jason Lyle Conrad, escaped custody while being transported to a medical center in Akron, Ohio. Despite being handcuffed and wearing a medical boot, Conrad was able to remove the boot and run away. Law enforcement officials from multiple agencies are currently searching for him. Conrad has been charged with several crimes, including willfully fleeing and possession of drugs. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the sheriff's office.
