The search for Argote is now a nationwide effort involving multiple law enforcement agencies. Wilkinson's killing is believed to be a targeted attack, and the suspect was in the process of divorcing Eugenia Argote, to whom Wilkinson had awarded child custody. The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to Argote's arrest.
