Man charged with murder in connection to Norelis Mendoza's death.

Gregory Mallard, a man with a history of domestic violence, has been charged with murder in connection to the death of Norelis Mendoza, whose body was found in a wooded area near the Bayonne-Jersey City border. Mallard is also accused of tampering with evidence, unlawful possession of a weapon, and failing to dispose of human remains properly. Mendoza's family had been searching for her since May 13, and authorities are investigating the incident as an act of domestic violence. Mallard is currently being held in Somerset County Jail.
