Man charged with attempted rape and kidnapping in cemetery

A 21-year-old man from Taunton, Massachusetts, has been accused of attempting to rape and kidnap a woman in a city cemetery. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries and was released. The suspect, William Perez, was arrested and faces charges of indecent assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to commit rape, and kidnapping. He was held without bail until a dangerousness hearing on Thursday.
