Man Charged in Murder of Detroit Synagogue President Samantha Woll

Michael Manual Jackson-Bolanos, a 28-year-old man from Detroit, has been charged with the murder of Samantha Woll, the president of a synagogue in Detroit. The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office charged Jackson-Bolanos with homicide felony murder, lying to a peace officer, and home invasion. There is no evidence to suggest that the murder was a hate crime. Woll was found stabbed outside her home in October, and investigators believe she was stabbed inside before making her way to the yard. Jackson-Bolanos is scheduled for a probable cause court appearance later this month.
