Man Arrested for Shooting Girlfriend and Holding 3 Kids Hostage in Northgate Apartment

A man in Colorado Springs allegedly shot his girlfriend and barricaded himself inside an apartment with the victim and three children. After a standoff with police, the suspect eventually surrendered, and the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The children were safely rescued, and the suspect, identified as Martet Urquhart, is now facing multiple charges.
