Man Arrested for Shooting at Crowd in Fayetteville

A Fayetteville man, Jaylon Lee Powell, was arrested for shooting into a crowd at a Flash Market, causing multiple injuries and damaging property. Powell, along with two unknown men, pointed their firearms at the crowd and fired numerous rounds before fleeing the scene. He was identified through security footage and found to be a convicted felon in possession of stolen firearms. Powell claimed he needed the firearms for protection, stating there was a "price on his head." He is facing multiple charges and is being held on a $200,000 bond.
