Malibu Sniper receives prison sentence for fatal shooting of father on camping trip with daughters.

Anthony Rauda has been sentenced to 119 years to life in prison for the sniper shooting death of Tristan Beaudette, a father who was camping with his daughters at Malibu Creek State Park in June 2018. Rauda was found guilty of second-degree murder, three counts of attempted murder, and five counts of second-degree commercial burglary. He was acquitted of seven other attempted murder charges. Rauda waived his right to be present in the courtroom during the trial but appeared in court for the sentencing.
