Lori Daybell murder trial concludes with prosecution and defense resting case.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys in the Lori Daybell murder trial rested their cases on Tuesday, with Lori Daybell choosing not to testify. The prosecution's final witness, investigator Nicholas Edwards, testified about an increase in communication between Lori Daybell, Chad Daybell, her brother Alex Cox, and Cox's future wife Zulema Pastenes on the day Tammy Daybell reported being shot at outside her home. Edwards also testified about an internet search made by Cox on the day of the shooting that piqued his interest. The defense and prosecution have clashed over whether Tammy Daybell was shot at with a real gun or a paintball gun. Closing arguments are set to begin on Thursday.
