Knife-Wielding Man Foiled by Brave Woman's Leap to Safety

A woman in California escaped from a man who was attacking her with a kitchen knife by jumping out of a second-story window. The man, who was her ex-boyfriend, had broken into her home and threatened to kill her. She sustained injuries from the fall but was able to get help from a neighbor and call the police. The man was arrested and charged with attempted murder and domestic violence.
