Jury Reaches Verdict in Chad Daybell Triple Murder Trial

Chad Daybell, an Idaho doomsday author, was found guilty of murdering his first wife, Tammy Daybell, and his current wife’s two youngest children, Joshua "JJ" Vallow and Tylee Ryan. The trial revealed Daybell's obsession with apocalyptic beliefs, labeling people as "zombies" and "dark spirits." The children's remains were discovered on Daybell's property in 2020. Daybell and Lori Vallow were indicted in 2021 on multiple charges, including first-degree murder and conspiracy. The capital sentencing phase will begin soon, where the death penalty will be considered.
