Jan. 6 Capitol Rioter Sentenced to Over 4 Years for Actions in Pelosi's Office

Richard "Bigo" Barnett, who was photographed with his feet on a desk in Nancy Pelosi's office during the Jan. 6 riots at the Capitol, has been sentenced to four years and six months in prison. Barnett was convicted on all charges, including felonies for obstruction of an official proceeding and civil disorder. U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper criticized Barnett's lack of remorse and noted that he was an active participant in the riot. Despite claiming to support law enforcement, Barnett insisted that "peaceful" protesters were attacked by police at the Capitol.
