Iowa Teen Murder Suspect to Testify Against Co-Defendant

Jeremy Goodale, one of two teens charged with the murder of a Fairfield Spanish teacher, has reached a plea deal with prosecutors and will testify against his co-defendant, Willard Miller. The two are accused of beating the teacher to death over a dispute about grades. Miller is scheduled for trial in April, and Goodale in May. Miller has filed a motion to suppress evidence against him, arguing that prosecutors violated Goodale's constitutional rights in an effort to produce evidence they could use against him. Goodale's attorneys declined to comment on the plea deal.
