Investigation Unveils New Details in Ybor City Mass Shooting Tragedy

Newly released court documents provide details on the Ybor City mass shooting that left two people dead and 16 others injured. Tyrell Stephen Phillips, one of the suspects, voluntarily surrendered to officers and admitted to being one of the shooters. Phillips claimed that he felt threatened by a group of individuals and fired his gun towards the entire group, resulting in the death of a 14-year-old boy. However, videos and witness statements contradict Phillips' account, indicating that the teenager did not pose a threat and was shot while his arms were raised. Tampa police are still searching for two other shooters involved in the incident.
