Investigation reveals new details in pro-Israel protester's death

The Ventura County District Attorney stated that the man accused of causing the death of pro-Israel demonstrator Paul Kessler did not intend to kill him. Loay Abdelfattah Alnaji, a professor at Moorpark College, was charged with involuntary manslaughter and battery causing serious bodily injury. Kessler, who was Jewish, died after suffering a head injury during an altercation at dueling demonstrations in Thousand Oaks. Alnaji pleaded not guilty and his defense attorney argued that his client's actions did not cause Kessler's fatal injury. The D.A. said they did not find evidence of intent to harm or kill, but left open the possibility of additional charges if new evidence emerges.
