Investigation launched into officer-involved shooting at New London inn

An officer and a man exchanged gunfire at the Clarion Inn in New London, Connecticut. The incident occurred after officers responded to a report of a shooting at another inn and subsequently located the male subject at the Clarion Inn. The man was transported to the hospital for treatment, and the investigation is being handled by the Inspector General's Office and the New London States Attorney Office.
